5th and 6th Grade Black and 8th Grade Blue all get wins.

Emily Walker dropped 38 points over two games and Marissa Sandone added 26, including four 3 pointers, as the 9th Grade Blue team started its 2013 season with a pair of rout victories at Fencor's Easter Egg tournament over Keystone and Fencor teams. Coach Shane added that Rachel Hamilton and Tori Walter were big on the boards all day and Taylor Evans, McKenna Kohler and Liv Kaunert made the teams new 1-3-1 Defensive scheme work like magic.

In other action, the 8th Grade Blue team started it's season with a 28-21 victory over the 9th grade Rebels team and then beat a physical Renegades team 36-25. Coach Greg called his defense "amazing", a true team commitment.

5th Grade Black started their season with a trio of victories, scoring 153 points in the process. Fairly remarakble production for 4th and 5th grade boys. Isaac White led the way with 71 points in the three games including 29 in the tournament championship game. Zevion Brown had 36 points for the weekend.

6th Grade Black fell in their first game to a team from Baltimore but rebounded with a resounding 56-28 victory in the follow up game at Competitive Edge. Julian Torres had 15 points on 7 for 7 shooting in the victory.
