Jaguars Boys 6th Grade wins the AFBE Tournament Championship

The Collegeville Jaguars Boys 6th Grade Black team got their first tournament championship of the 2017 season last weekend. The Jags won all 4 games by more than 20 points to claim the Athletes for a Better Education (AFBE)-Exeter tournament title. The team was led in scoring by Tomas Torres (10 ppg) and Ty Mishock (6.8 ppg).  The team also has standout defensive efforts from Luke Hansen, Michael McKenna and Ryan Kovaleski.

During their first tournament of the season, the Jags lost in the semi-finals of the Hardwood Battle at Vally Forge. The team looks forward to carrying the momentum of the AFBE win with them when they compete next weekend in the Under-Armor Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship
