Jaguars AAU Tryouts & Registration

Registration Requirements and Expectations

A one time $25.00 Registration Fee is due at time of tryouts. Bring cash or check in this amount payable to “Jaguars”. For inquiries or questions about the registration process please email us at jazzara@jagsbball.com. The Jaguars support local travel and school basketball and to be clear, a travel or school basketball games should take precedence over a Jaguars tryout at this time of year. You are permitted to come late or leave early to meet other obligations and no one will be penalized for missing all or part of a tryout. If you are absolutely unable to make any of the scheduled tryouts please send an email to jazzara@jagsbball.com and we will make arrangements for you to tryout with a different age group.

No personnel will be permitted in the tryout gym except for players, coaches and evaluators.  Parents will be expected to wait in the lobby area or you may pick up your child at the appointed time. This will be strictly enforced.

Check back periodically for updates to the tryout schedule. We will arrange our schedule to have as few conflicts as possible with travel.

Player Notification Process

Upon completion of tryouts and subsequent evaluations, rosters will be posted on the appropriate team pages under the Roster button. While coaches can handle this process as they wish, players who do not make a roster will not necessarily be notified directly. If you wish to receive specific feedback on your child's performance at our tryouts and what factors were considered in the decision making process you may contact Club President Joe Azzara at jazzara@jagsbball.com. He will direct your inquiry to the appropriate person for a response.
